Jacob “J.J.” Reach is a retired Captain of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office with 30 years of law enforcement experience serving Jefferson County. He led multiple divisions, including Patrol, Corrections, Sex Offender Enforcement, and School Resource Operations, overseeing safety for 62 schools and earning commendations for solving cold homicide cases. His career includes extensive work in investigations, leadership, and training, with a continued commitment to public safety as a current investigator with the Calera Police Department.
